Understanding the Journey

To understand why those with mental health issues look towards assisted suicide as a way to end their life, I read many articles and watched documentaries surrounding the issue.

One that stood out was '24 and ready to die' by The Economist. The story follows a young Belgian woman named Emily, who suffers with severe depression. The short documentary shows the steps leading up to her death date and how she was granted the right to end her own life.
